Description

The Sputnik Stool is a versatile piece of designer furniture that combines elegance and functionality in a clean, simple form. Its name and design are reminiscent of the first artificial satellite in space and, by extension, the dawn of the iconic Space Age, whose timeless design continues to resonate today.

The seat features comfortable memory foam padding. The clean, round shape creates a pleasant contrast to the slender wooden frame, making the stool not only comfortable but also visually striking. The solid wood frame gives the Sputnik Stool stability and a warm, natural character.

Whether as an extra seat, a practical side table (with the optional table top available separately!), or a stylish design piece—the Sputnik Stool blends seamlessly into a wide variety of living spaces. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it can be used flexibly and quickly rearranged as needed.

With its blend of timeless design, high-quality materials, and refined details, the Sputnik Stool is a piece of furniture that impresses both functionally and aesthetically—a small classic with a big impact.

What is piping?

Piping a cord encased in a fabric strip. It is used to embellish the edge seams of upholstered furniture or pillows, while also reinforcing them and making them more durable.

The slider shows an example and explains it very quickly:

Sustainability

Sustainability is a big word. Perhaps too big to use lightly. In an industry that likes to make promises, we believe in something simpler: taking responsibility for what we can actually influence. Not abstract offsets, but decisions that start right here in our workshop.

As a design manufacturer, we don’t make promises that we can’t physically verify on the other side of the world. Instead, we focus on what’s right in front of us: local integrity. Our wood is FSC-certified, our supply chains are short, and our production takes place right here at home. We don’t plant imaginary trees—we build furniture that lasts.
